The Travel Air 6000B by DELTA Air Service will soon be available in 1/72 scale, a highly anticipated model for enthusiasts of classic aviation and collectors alike. This version stands out for featuring the original Wright J-6-9 Whirlwind engine, a civil variant that differs significantly from the Wright R-975 Whirlwind used in the Travel Air 6000B by Kachemak. The latter model, also part of the Golden Age Series collection (ref: GA.721100), features a very distinct exhaust configuration that gives it a unique appearance.
Additionally, the new 1/72 scale model retains the original tail of the Travel Air 6000B, staying true to the historical designs of the era. Like the 1/48 scale version, it includes high-quality parts made from polyurethane resin and 3D-printed resin.
