The FOGUETE was a Junkers A.50, specially modified for aerial acrobatics, piloted by the great Portuguese pilot Captain Plácido de Abreu. With this airplane, Abreu represented Portugal at the 1932 National Air Racing held in Cleveland, Ohio. His performance was so good, always placing among the top three, that he was frequently invited to various international events.
